For tassel style:  I will need mane or tail hair about a pencils width in thickness, 6 inches in length per tassel.  Number of tassels will vary depending on the style you choose. These will be post style or you have the option to convert them to clip-on style.  Mane hair looks great on these because it is so soft and fine.

For hoop style:  I will need about 14" of hair cut from the center of the tail, about a markers width in thickness.   These will be hook style.

If you have metal allergies, just ask for niobium instead.  This is similar to titanium and does not have risk of an allergic reaction.  I use these for all my own earrings due to allergies.  There is no extra charge, just drop me a note with your order.  They are available in hook style only and can be used on any of the earrings I offer.
